Kebakaran di Samarinda, 1 Korban Meninggal Terkurung di Kamar Mandi

SAMARINDA – Kebakaran hebat melanda Kota Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, Minggu (14/07/2024) sore. Insiden ini terjadi di kawasan permukiman Jalan Sentosa, Gang Kenangan 1B, RT 73, Kelurahan Sungai Pinang Dalam, Kecamatan Sungai Pinang.
Kebakaran yang berlangsung selama satu jam, dari pukul 15.00 WITA hingga 16.00 WITA, menghanguskan dua bangunan, yaitu satu rumah tunggal dan satu bangsal enam pintu.
Tragisnya, kebakaran ini menelan satu korban jiwa. Ahmad Maulana (22) ditemukan tewas di kamar mandi bangsal, dalam kondisi hangus terbakar. Jenazah korban langsung dievakuasi ke RSUD AW Syahranie, Samarinda.
Sebanyak sembilan kepala keluarga, yang terdiri dari 29 jiwa, terdampak dalam musibah ini. Selain itu, satu rumah lain juga mengalami kerusakan akibat kebakaran tersebut.
Penyebab Kebakaran Diduga Obat Nyamuk
Kepala Bidang Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Damkar Kota Samarinda, Teguh Setya Wardana, menyebutkan bahwa dugaan sementara penyebab kebakaran adalah obat nyamuk.
“Namun penyebab pastinya masih dalam penyelidikan pihak kepolisian,” ujarnya.
Tim pemadam kebakaran dan relawan menghadapi beberapa kendala di lapangan, seperti jalan yang sempit, sumber air yang terbatas, serta banyaknya warga yang menonton di lokasi kejadian.
Sebanyak sembilan unit tanki fire truck dari Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan PMK Swasta serta 20 mesin portable milik relawan dikerahkan untuk memadamkan api.
Penanganan kebakaran ini melibatkan berbagai unsur, termasuk relawan Kota Samarinda, Disdamkar Kota Samarinda, BPBD Kota Samarinda.
Selain itu, tim medis Emergency Medical Team-ITS, Command Centre 112, PMI, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas, Polsekta Sungai Pinang, Satlantas Polresta Samarinda, PLN Samarinda, Patroli Beat 110, dan Dishub Kota Samarinda. (*)
